Ezelius Elektriska redesign
Background
Ezelius Electrical is an electrician company with strong values around equality, clarity, and positive impact. Their goal was to redesign their outdated website to better reflect these values, attract more traffic, and convert visitors into customers or future employees.
Timeline: February 2024 - March 2024
Role: UI Designer
As the only designer on the project, I was responsible for:
A full visual redesign of the website
Creating a refreshed brand color palette
Building a design system
I made bold design choices to support the company’s values—like using pink as an accent color to signal warmth and inclusivity, and incorporating small playful details to create personality and break away from traditional, corporate aesthetics.

1. Workshop with the client
Gathered business goals and tone of voice
2. Benchmarking
Reviewed industry examples for design, structure, and tone
3. Sketching
Developed wireframes based on insights
4. Hi-fi design
Built a desktop-first design using best practices in UX
5. Design system
Created reusable components and styles for smooth development
With a tight 4-week timeline ahead, I had to prioritize fast execution. Close collaboration with the developer and weekly feedback loops with the client were essential to keeping the project on track.
Throughout the process, I leaned heavily on UX best practices—using whitespace, clear hierarchy, and thoughtful content flow to create a site that feels clean, accessible, and user-friendly.
The final design strikes a balance between professionalism and warmth, reflecting Ezelius Electrical’s values and helping them stand out as a modern, inclusive company in a traditional industry.
